The Jon Armstrong Jazz Orchestra is a 22 piece genre busting modern big band based in Los Angeles that was formed to realize the adventurous compositions of the band's leader, Jon Armstrong.  The ensemble includes some of the best LA creative musicians and features an incredible world percussion section.

In July of 2014, the group released it's debut album; Farewell. The album was put out on Orenda Records, a forward thinking creative music label based in Los Angeles formed by Daniel Rosenboom.
