Jon Armstrong presents Gathering at the Juniper Grove, a new album for jazz octet. The ensemble is an imagined post-apocalyptic folk band made up of community members playing found instruments. The compositions, based on Erin Armstrong's poetry, depict the festivals, losses, and stories of this imagined community.

The music was recorded and filmed live at Art Share in downtown Los Angeles in June 2019. It is available on YouTube and Bandcamp.
